Recently concluded FALS oncology at Basavatarakam Indo American institute at Hyderabad.
Great effort by Subramanyeshwar Rao Sir ,Raju sir and team . Wonderful combination of focussed academics , right choice of faculty , precise flawless organisation and warm hospitality.. raised the bar for FALS oncology and most importantly got the oncology community interested in organised training for MAS oncology going by the enquiries I received from various eminent surgeons from respected institutes … Personally gave a talk and conducted a panel on Colorectal cancer
As the FALS oncology convenor , personal thanks to President Easwar ,IAGES EC and the FALS board for making this possible. And to the luminaries like Prof Shailesh shrikande, prof Saklani and other eminent faculty 🙏
International Conference At Royal college of Edinburgh
Being welcomed as a faculty member on colorectal cancer into the esteemed Royal College of Edinburgh was an immense honour. Outstanding work by IAGES and RCS Edinburgh leadership, as well as Presidents Dr. Easwarmoorthy and Prof. Rowan Parks, Dr. Ramen Goyal, Dr. Selvasekhar and Prof. Mike Gryphon.
Met many old friends and made new ones. An added benefit was spending quality time with my TMH flatmate, Dr. Dhananjay Kulkarni.
MASICON – Annual conference of the Maharashtra chapter of Asso. Of Surgeons of India is almost like an annual pilgrimage! This year it was at Latur – organized by a TMH alumni and dear friend Dr Ajay Punpale and his team . Great academic content warmest hospitality fabulous food !
Glad to have demonstrated a Laparoscopic right radical hemicolectomy and gave a talk on Concept of CME in rt colon cancer! Icing was to meet past students from Fortis like Dr Saurabh now a busy surgeon with a huge hospital near Solapur!
