22 Dec’19, Cancer Screening camp at Abhinav School, Dombivli
Free Cancer screening camp (includes Mammography, Pap Smear test and Oral Cancer screening) was organised on 22 Dec’19 at Abhinav Vidyalay, MIDC, Dombilvi. Approximately 29 patients for Mammography, 41 patients for Pap Smear test and 75 patients for Oral Cancer were screened during this camp.
18-21 Nov’19 Mammography camp at Posco Company, Roha
Free Mammography and Cancer Screening camp was organised between 18 – 21 Nov’19 at Posco Company, Roha. Approximately 110 patients were screened during this camp.

Hope…Smile & Sunshine
A fund raising program organised by GKC Trust, Anil Cancer Clinic and Anil Eye Hospital, Dombivli on Sat, 5 Jan’19 to commemorate the success of hospice project for the terminally ill cancer patients. Our own Cancer Survivors were the stars of this show. Dance by Jyotsna and Ashlesha, the song by the entire group and a dazzling fashion show on Headgear theme was apt for people who have lost and then regained their hair! Preeti Purohit and the entire team was truly inspiring! These survivors stole the hearts of the audience by their mind blowing performances. Comedy Express Laughter busters Mr. Arun Kadam & Mr. Abhijit Chavan, famous singer Savani Ravindra and Abhijeet Sawant engaged the theatre. The entire audience of 600 people at the Atre Rang Mandir in Kalyan was. Spellbound! Truly magical ! This was the most beautiful New Year Gift!

Free Mammography and Pap Smear camp was organised on 7 Oct’18 at Padgha, Bhiwandi by Anil Cancer Clinic in association with Gopalkrishna Charitable Trust and Shri Minakshi Foundation.
Colorectal Surgical Workshop
Had a great interaction with senior surgeons from Bangladesh. Professor Jamaal from Dhaka Medical college. Prof Rahman from National cancer institute and others . Demonstrated 5 Anterior resection… 2 of them were ultra-low and one intersphincteric! This in addition to 1 Radical surgery for cancer endometrium, diagnostic laparoscopy for cancer stomach and ileostomy closure. 8 major cases in two days! All at Fortis hospital Mulund. We then had a hands on animal lab training at Ethicon institute Mahim. Dr Arulvannan was the faculty with me . Dr Ghanish Panjwani and Dr Anand Auti worked hard to ensure the smooth running of the OT. Special thanks to our anesthesia nurses technician team and the fortis hospital mulund administration!

Free Health checkup camp was organized on 11 Sep’18 at Panchayat Samiti, Ambernath. Approximately 60 patients were screened during this camp.
Mammography & Oral Cancer screening camp was organized on 15th Aug’18 for Shree Dombivli Lohana samaj.
Oncohope and SRV Mamata Hospital conducted screen for health camp at Casa Rio lodha, Dombivli. Received very good response from the participants. People thanked SRV for conducting this awareness and Onco screening. Dr Jayashree Bankira madam was invited for the consultation.
Free Oral Cancer Screening camp was organized on 23 June 2018 at Shree Vivekanand Sahakari Gruha Nirman Sanstha Maryadit Coop Soc, Indas library.

Mammography camp was organized on 5/3/18 at Murbad.
Mammography Screening & Pap Smear Test camp was organized on 28 Feb’18. Respected DHO Sir visited and guided about Cancer detection during this camp held at Shenva PHC. Approximately 34 patients for Mammography, 30 patients for Pap Smear test, 63 patients for DM/HT and 160 patients were screened during this camp.
The centre expressed their gratitude to Dr Heroor’s Cancer clinic, Gopalkrishna charitable trust,Dombivali, Dr Ramesh Rathod Sir, Roopali Shedge mam and team.
Mammography camp and awareness lecture was conducted by GKC trust and Oncohope ACC for the ladies of the Air force station at thane on 9 Feb’18. More than 100 ladies attended the camp.

Mammography camp was organized at CISS International airport on 1st & 2nd Feb’18. Approximately 22 patients were screened during this camp.
Free diagnosis and treatment for Cancer, Diabetes and Hypertension was organized on 20 Jan’18 at Primary Healthcare Centre, Tembha, Golbha, Taluka Shahpur in association with Samrudhha Jeevan Sanstha , Gopalkrishna Charitable Trust, Dombivli and Zillha Parishad Arogya Kendra. Approximately 220 patients were screened during this camp.
Eye screening and Mammography camp was organized by Rotary club of Dombivli Uptown and Shivsena Grahak Sanrakshan Kaksha on 24 Dec’17 at Dombivli Railway station (w). 140 patients were screened during this camp. Also Dr Anagha Heroor was felicitated on this day by Rotary Club of Dombivli Uptown and Shiv Sena for the excellence and great involvement for the social cause.
Dr. Anil Heroor was invited for Shahpur Mahotsav organized by Jagannath Maharaj and Adhyatma Prasarak Mandal in Shahpur. A medical camp was conducted in this Mahotsav where more than 200 people were screened for Eye test, Mammography and General Hygiene. Dr. Anil Heroor and Dr. Anagha Heroor were appreciated and acknowledged with Dhanwantari Seva Gaurav Puraskar by the local MLA and the mandal for his esteemed social work.

A 3 days (11 Jul’17- 13 Jul’17) general Cancer screening awareness program by Dr. Anil Heroor was organized at SRPF, Balegaon, Navi mumbai. Approximately 212 Police men and their staff members of SRPF were screened during this seminar. It was general cancer screening program for men. Dr. Anil Heroor was invited as the Speaker on the talk show of ‘World No Tobacco day’, 31st May for raising Cancer Awareness at Atre Katta,Thane . Around 100 dynamic active senior citizens and attendees of various age groups shared their queries regarding this Emperor of maladies – Cancer ! . The organizers also distributed prizes for a poster competition held by Adhar Rekha Pratisthan. It was very interesting and interactive!
